I created Young Poet’s brand voice, brand story, website copy, and key messaging to reflect the world it offers customers. As a poet might.

They empower their customers to do the same. 
With clean, sophisticated design and patented technology that gives people control over what they hear. 
And the freedom to express their individual style.  
Which might explain why Loop sold over 2.5-million pairs of earplugs in 2022 and won Deloitte Belgium's Technology Fast 50 Award.
I assisted Loop in defining their brand, refining their values, and writing their brand story, tone of voice, and key messaging. 

Getting sticky

I created Sticky Name Design with my partner in brand craft, Phil Ramsell.

Their support goes beyond their products to being advocates for the industry as a whole as well as the sustainable future that solar represents.
I supported Schletter in creating their brand guidelines, brand positioning statement, brand story, tone of voice, brand claim, key messaging, and website copy. 
And I continue to support them in developing digital campaign concepts and copy.

Same old story

A print ad from back in the day. What mattered then matters just as much now, namely the emotively compelling story at the heart of a brand. Once revealed, it can propel the brand forward in any medium, digital or analogue.

There are no boring brands, only boring storytellers

An anthem to Leica’s passion for craftsmanship, it was hoped that this film would achieve 5 000 to 10 000 views at launch. It clocked well over 500 000 on Vimeo and another 150 000 on YouTube in the first two weeks.

Tokara Winery built its reputation on the craft it puts into every aspect of the wine making process and can honestly claim that its product is “wine made art.” This work as recognized with a Gold Award at South Africa’s industry award show.

Brand Identity, tone of voice, and copy for the CAV GT40 - a replica of the legendary GT40, the car Ford built to beat Ferrari at Le Mans in the late 1960’s.
